L' OUSTALOUN,or, the little house in Provencal, was in the past a 16th century abbey then House Commune from 1792 – 1817 (mayor's office and prison) a carpentry and finally the 1st Hotel – Restaurant in the heart of the village of Maussane les Alpilles in the valley of the beautiful village of Les Baux de Provence, between the Lubéron and the Camargue.
After a detour in the Haute Savoie ,region and the Hôtelière du Savoie – Léman school in Thonon les Bains Thierry Fabregoul,originally from Arles,returned to his roots, Marielle, left a career as a Pharmacy technician in Avignon to pursue what she has always loved to do to manage a hotel and restaurant and be able to receive guests Like at home with a love of contact and especially the idea of cooking and please to others.

For the past 34 years we have renovated and embellished this beautiful house to offer our guests a moment of happiness simple and quiet in our boutique hotel and restaurant.
We had the pleasure in September 2014, of seeing our efforts rewarded by the awarding of the Quality Tourism certification, since 2010 our chef has held the title of Master Restauranter.
