L-Oustaloun, since 1990
L' Oustaloun — the small house in Provencal — carries in it centuries of history. Abbey in the 16th century, town hall and prison under the Revolution, carpentry of the village... before becoming what it is today: the first hotel-restaurant in the heart of Maussane-les-Alpilles, between the Baux-de-Provence, the Luberon and the Camargue.
After training at the hotel school in Savoie-Léman, Thierry regained his roots in Provence — Where it all started. Marielle left Avignon's pharmacy to do what she always wanted to do: receive, cook, and take care of others. Together, they have made this old home a place where it immediately feels good.
For 36 years, they pamper every corner of the house, refine every recipe, and welcome their guests with the same warmth — the one that is reserved for long-time friends. The label Quality Tourism in 2014 and the title Master Restauranter in 2016 came to crown years of work and love of the profession.

For several years we have come to the restaurant L-Oustaloun. Everything is perfect there – the warm welcome of Thierry and Marielle, the decor of the room, the impeccable service and, of course, the delicious dishes that come out of the kitchen. Good products carefully prepared.
This time we booked 2 nights in the hotel – spacious room, very comfortable bed, we slept like
Babies. When you wake up, a delicious breakfast.
